What is science? What does science have to do with our lives? This two-day science camp will lead students to understand the history, principles and offering plenty hands-on practical and fun experiments. Through the introduction of multiple and different gender perspectives, they will understand the role played by female scientists in history and the impact these pioneers have had on the world. Through engaging and interesting experiments, they will learn to practice scientific principles. Through the "Tinkering Workshop", students can actively explore and learn by themselves while having fun and also developing their creativity and ingenuity through group collaboration, discussion and sharing. By exploring and practicing scientific theories through the camp courses, students will be inspired to be interested in science and realize its immense possibilities and opportunities.
• The process of registration and payment must be completed before 17th, January 2022. • For EARLY BIRD applicants, please complete the process of registration and payment before 3rd, January 2022. All the registration and payment made after 3rd, January 2021 will not be valid for the Early Birth discount. • MCU reserves the right to cancel part of/ or the entire camp with all payments refunded in the event that numbers of participants are insufficient. • Children must bring a water bottle, notebook, and stationery needed each day. • All valuables must be left at home. MCU does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property belonging to participants. • Lunch is provided every day during the camp period. • All special requirements/ medical conditions must be clearly stated on the application form which will be sent through E-mail after the process of registration is completed. • The hours of the camp are 9 am-4 pm each day. • Information on activities is given in good faith. All activities are subject to change depending on weather conditions, camp schedule, and other arrangements. • MCU reserves the right to cancel, amend or alter activities accordingly. • No make-up class will be held and no refund will be made for course cancellation due to force majeure (such as typhoons or natural disasters.)
